CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT: We the members of Friendship Baptist Church will seek to be a people worhsipping God, being a vessel of God's redemptive message as we strive to meet the total needs of human kind.

In an effort to carry out our mission, we have launched "Initiative 2000 and Beyond: Not By Sight, but By Faith". It is the vision of Friendship Baptist Church to expand our ministry, services, congregation, and facilities to meet the following goals:

Create a dynamic worship and education experience on Sunday mornings

Create an environment and teaching ministry wherein the saints are nurtured, edified, and empowered for committed Christian Services.

Create a ministry of pastoral care wherein people are cared for and supported during times of personal crisis.

Create opportunities to train members to witness for Christ and to lead lost friends and relatives to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Create an environment where members are encouraged to commit themselves in the ministry of the church.

We want to implement some of the following initiatives: church library, computer training, parenting classes, aerobics classes, a biblical institute, singles ministry, and workshops on secular discipline.
