DEACONS/DEACONESS MINISTRY

The purpose of the deacons/deaconess ministry is to work in close alignment with all of the other ministries to meet congregational needs and be actively involved in all church programs.

Our mission is to endeavor to promte family unity by supporting one another, socializing together, and loving one another. The ministry works to improve communication, verbalize concerns, and resolve family conflicts.

Our duties include praying for the pastor on a regular basis and to relieve him of temporal affairs in the church. We are to visit the sick and needy members of our congregations, and should be good counselors.
